Introduction (ivlab, yournews development website)

Yournews is an interactive video project which aims to collect low-fi news videos recorded by users with low-end video recording devices like photocameras or mobile phones. The aim of this project is organizing this video content by using (user defined) metadata in combination with a rich user interface design (data visualization). The goal of the interface design is to act like an interactive infographic (definition:wikipedia)
